The Pakistan Urogynecology Association (PUGA) proudly celebrated its 11th Annual Anniversary at a local hotel, bringing together leading gynecologists, healthcare professionals, and emerging medical practitioners.
The event focused on pelvic health issues among women, particularly after childbirth and during menopause, which significantly impact quality of life. The celebration emphasized the critical need for specialized urogynecology expertise in Pakistan to effectively diagnose and manage these conditions.
Leadership & Vision
The event was led by Professor Dr. Shagufta Tahir, President and Chief Organizer of PUGA, who shared the vision behind the Association’s establishment. She highlighted the increasing prevalence of pelvic health issues and the importance of specialized care.
On the occasion of 11th Pakistan Urogynecology Association (PUGA) organised by founder PUGA Prof. Shagufta Tahir, Dr. Aysha, Dr. Ambreen Khan with Prof. Shabeen Naz Masood as Chief Guest of the ceremony.
About Urogynecology
Urogynecology, a specialized branch of gynecology, focuses on pelvic floor disorders affecting women from post-childbirth to post-menopausal stages. Management includes both medical and surgical treatment options, depending on the patient’s condition.
