Prof. Dr. Shakila Yasmeen having 25 years of dedicated service in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an Associate Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), UK. Prof. Dr. Shakila Yasmeen has made significant academic contributions with 22 publications and several national and international presentations at forums such as SOGP, SAFOG, PUGA, RCOG and IUGA. She also holds leadership positions as the Co-chairperson of SoGP Bahawalpur and Vice President of Punjab PUGA. She is a founder & Ex President of Pakistan Urogynaecologist Association (PUGA). She has been Dean of Faculty of Gynaecology and Obstetrics College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). Prof. Shabnam Shamim Asim

Prof. Dr. Shabnam Shamim Asim is one of the best Gynaecologists in Pakistan, working as a Chairperson and Dean in the Department of Gynaecology & Obstetrics in Karachi Metropolitan University. She is also Instructor and Course Director for Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) and American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). She is a Member of the Syndicate and the Board of Advanced Studies & Research at Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU), Lahore, where she has also served as Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor. Previously, she held the position of Chairperson, Dean, and Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at FJMU. In addition to her academic leadership, she plays an active role in professional organizations, serving as the Senior Vice President of the Medical Women’s Association of Pakistan (MWAP), Vice President (Punjab) of the Association of Fatima Jinnah Old Graduates (AFJOG), and former Vice President (Punjab) of the Society of Obstetricians & Gynecologists Pakistan (SOGP). Prof. Dr. Maryam Shoaib

Prof. Maryam Shoaib is the Head of the Department of
Gynaecology, Unit IV, Bolan Medical Complex Hospital (BMCH),
Quetta. She serves as the Vice President of the Punjab
Urogynaecological Association (PUGA), Balochistan Chapter, and
is a Supervisor at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan
(CPSP). Prof. Shoaib is also the Focal Person for the Fistula Centre,
Quetta, where she plays a key role in improving women’s
reproductive health services. In addition, she serves as the Director
of BIRTH Ova IVF Centre, Quetta, contributing to advancements
in fertility care and assisted reproductive technologies in the region.
Dr. Muhammad Nasir Sulaiman
MBBS, FRCS
Dr. Muhammad Nasir Sulaiman is a graduate of Dow Medical
College. He did his FRCS in General Surgery from Glasgow and
Edinburgh in 1988. He managed to rotate in the different
subspecialties of urology, like reconstructive urology, urogynecology,
uro-oncology, stone disease, andrology, urodynamic
unit and general urology. He has developed an interest in these
subspecialties and managed to implement them in his practice in
Pakistan in the different Institutions that he has been involved with.
He has a special interest in endourology, andrology including penile
prosthesis, male infertility and urethral surgery. Dr. Sulaiman has a
number of papers published in national and international journals.
He has attended different symposiums workshops and has also
conducted them locally. He has been actively involved in teaching
under and post-graduate students.
Dr. Novera Ghayoor Chughtai

Dr. Novera Ghayoor Chughtai is an Assistant Professor of
Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery in the
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aga Khan University
Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan. She also serves as a Supervisor for the
Fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at
the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. In recognition of
her contributions to medical education, she received the Physician
Educator Award 2023 from the Accreditation Council for Graduate
Medical Education–International (ACGME-I). She is an Executive
Member of the Pakistan Urogynecologists Association, a Member
of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Pakistan, and a
Member of the International Urogynecological Association.
Dr. Mariam Iqbal
MBBS, FCPS, MHPE
Dr. Mariam Iqbal has over 14 years of experience in the field of
Gynecology and Obstetrics and has worked in Pakistan's largest
hospitals, including Liaquat National Hospital in Karachi, Services
Hospital, Lahore, as well as Nishtar Hospital, Multan. Her special
interests include Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery, Infertility
high-risk pregnancies, and Aesthetic Gynecology for which she got
training in Slovenia and has been doing procedures at Aesthetic
Uro-Gynecology Unit, Hameed Latif Hospital. She has facilitated
and conducted many workshops and gynecological surgery courses.

Prof. Dr. Humera Noreen

Prof. Humera Noreen is currently serving as the Head of the
Department of Gynaecology Unit II at Holy Family Hospital,
affiliated with Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU), Rawalpindi.
She also holds the position of Director of the Directorate of
Assessment (Postgraduate) and serves as the Course Director for
DGO at RMUR. In addition to her administrative and academic
responsibilities, she is an Executive Member of the Punjab
Urogynaecological Association (PUGA) and a Member of the
International Urogynaecological Association (IUGA). Dr. [Name]
is a Lifetime Member of the Society of Obstetricians and
Gynaecologists of Pakistan (SOGP) and an Approved Instructor for
the ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) Provider Course.
She actively contributes to faculty capacity building as a Facilitator
of Faculty Development Workshops at RMU. Beyond her clinical

Prof. Dr. Shamila Ijaz Munir

Prof. Dr. Shamila Ijaz Munir is Currently working in FJMU as Head
of urogynaecology, which is first of its kind in public sector. She
has special interest in infertility and endoscopic surgery. She is
urogynae supervior and examiner. Also she is CPSP, UHS and
RCOG examiner. She has vast experience of working in UK and
have multiple national and international publications including a
book on labour room care, DEAG guideline of dengue in pregnancy
and SOGP guidelines of Fetomaternal medicine. She is master
trainer of Labour care guide and PPH bundle.
Dr. Urooj Kashif

Dr. Urooj Kashif completed her Fellowship in Urogynecology and
Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Aga Khan University Hospital,
Karachi. She holds the FCPS in Obstetrics and Gynecology,
awarded in 2013 by the College of Physicians and Surgeons,
PakistanDr. Urooj Kashif has received several academic and
teaching distinctions throughout her career. She was honored with
the Award for Innovation in Education by the Aga Khan University
in 2023 for conducting a hands-on workshop using an experimental

Dr. Shamsunisa is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and

Prof. Dr. Syed Sheeraz-Ur-Rehman

Prof. Dr. Syed Sheeraz-ur-Rehman is a Professor in the Department
of General Surgery at Liaquat National Hospital (LNH), Karachi,
and serves as the Director of Undergraduate Surgical Education at
LNMC. He is the International Advisor to the Royal College of
Surgeons of Glasgow and the Secretary of the Board of Governors
of the Patients Welfare Association, Civil Hospital Karachi. With
31 publications in indexed national and international journals, he
has made significant contributions to surgical education and

(DUHS) and Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU), as well as a

Dr. Sana Ashfaq is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at
DUHS/DIMC and as a Laparoscopic and Fistula Repair Surgeon at
Koohi Goth Hospital and Atia General Hospital. She has performed
over 300 fistula repair surgeries, including vesicovaginal,
vesicouterine, and ureteric fistulas, using vaginal, abdominal, and
laparoscopic approaches. She has pioneered several advanced
laparoscopic procedures at Koohi Goth Hospital, including the first
laparoscopic ureteric implantation, first laparoscopic Boari’s flap,
first laparoscopic vesicouterine fistula repair, and first laparoscopic
vaginoplasty. In addition, Dr. Sana Ashfaq has successfully
performed more than 100 total laparoscopic hysterectomies (TLH).

Prof. Dr. Erum Tanveer is the Principal of the United College of
Physical Therapy and a dedicated PhD scholar. She is a Certified

Clinical Research Professional and a Kinesiotaping Practitioner.

Prof. Rubina Sohail

Prof. Rubina Sohail is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
and a Consultant at Hameed Latif Hospital, Lahore, Pakistan. She is
a passionate champion of sexual and reproductive health and rights,
she currently serves as President of the Society of Obstetricians and
Gynaecologists of Pakistan (SOGP) and South Asian Federation of
Obstetrics and Gynaecology (SAFOG). She is the Pioneer of
Kangaroo Mother Care in Pakistan and the Founder Chair of the

Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Pakistan (JSOGP). She

Prof. Dr. Al-Fareed Zafar

Prof. Dr. Al-Fareed Zafar is a distinguished Pakistani medical
professional and academic, recognized for his leadership, clinical
expertise, and contributions to medical education. He has served as
Principal of the Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI),
Ameeruddin Medical College (AMC), and Lahore General Hospital
