Dr. Darshana Abeygunawardana
MBBS, MD (Obstetrics & Gynecology), FSLCOG
Dr. Darshana Abeygunawardana is a distinguished consultant obstetrician and gynecologist with advanced training and fellowships in Day Care Gynecological Endoscopy (India) and Cosmetic Gynecology (ISAGSS & ASCOP). Dr. Darshana Abeygunawardana currently serves as the President Elect of the Menopause Society of Sri Lanka and as the Regional Activity Chairperson of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (SLCOG). He is also an expert member of the Medical Device Evaluation Committee (MDEC) of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA). His influence extends beyond Sri Lanka, serving as a committee member of the Maternal and Perinatal Health Committee of the South Asian Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (SAFOG) and the Sexual & Reproductive Health Committee of the Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOFOG). Through his extensive clinical experience, leadership, and regional collaboration, Dr. Darshana Abeygunawardana continues to make significant contributions to advancing women’s health, maternal care, and reproductive well-being.
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akin
MD
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akin Sivaslioglu graduated from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 1986. In 1992, he received his MA (Master of Arts) degree in population studies from the Institute of Population Studies, Exeter University. After completing his specialty and associate professorship career in Ankara and Izmir Training Research Hospitals, he became a ‘professor’ at Mugla Sitki Kocman University, Faculty of Medicine. He is one of the opinion leaders in the field of ‘urogynecology’ in Turkey. He pioneered many pelvic surgery techniques and concepts and defined new surgical techniques (Sivaslioglu Thread Lift) in the repair of pelvic floor disorders (Sivaslioglu Modification in RVF/USL plication) and female genital cosmetic surgery. He also published national and international journals and his publication on the use of mesh on the pelvic floor is one of the most cited publications in the world. He also organizes educational-instructional national and international congresses, live surgery, and cadaver workshops on pelvic floor disorders, pelvic anatomy and genital aesthetics, is currently the head of Mugla Sitki Kocman University, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Robinson Timothy Dudley
MBBS, MD, FRCOG
Dr. Robinson Timothy Dudley is a Consultant Obstetrician and urogynaecologist who trained at the Royal London Hospital and qualified in 1991. Mr. Robinson completed a two-year sub-specialty training program in urogynaecology at Kings College Hospital and was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a sub-specialty interest in Urogynaecology in 2005. His current NHS base is with King’s College Hospital in London. Dr. Robinson achieved a research fellowship with Professor Linda Cardozo in the Department of Urogynaecology at Kings College Hospital, London. Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Dudley Robinson undertook his training and worked in and around London. Mr Robinson has published widely in the field of urogynaecology and his research interests include the effect of hormones and drugs on the lower urinary tract. Dr. Robinson’s MD thesis was entitled ‘Anti-diuresis in the management of daytime urinary incontinence’ and investigated the use of desmopressin nasal spray as a ‘designer drug’ for women with daytime urinary incontinence.
Dr. Catherine A. Matthews
MD, FACS, FACOG, FPMRS
Dr. Catherine A. Matthews is Professor of Urology and Gynecology at Wake Forest Baptist Health and serves as the Fellowship Director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Co-Director of the Female Pelvic Health Center. She is the Course Director for the AUGS Clinical Course and is the immediate past Chair of Education for the International Urogynecology Association and the Foundation Chair of AUGS. Dr. Matthews is passionate about education and has delivered over 100 invited international and national lectures and workshops and has received numerous teaching awards. She has extensive experience in transvaginal and robotic surgery for pelvic organ prolapse repair and has been invited to perform live surgery in India, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Portugal, and South Africa. Dr. Matthews has received multiple awards for her excellence in patient care and has been an annual recipient of “Top Doctors in America” for the past 15 years. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers in pelvic organ prolapse surgery, robotic-assisted sacrocolpopexy and fecal incontinence.
Dr. Pablo Gonzalez Isaza

Dr. Pablo Gonzalez is tha headchief of the urogynecology and minimally invasive surgery department of Obstetrics and gynecology Hospital Universitario San Jorge Pereira Colombia. He is also the President and founder of Asociacion De Ginecologos Esteticos Colombianos AGEOC. Dr. Pablo is pioneer of Female Cosmetic Genital Surgery in Colombia. Dr. Pablo Gonzalez has more than 15 years of experience regarding laser use in Cosmetic Gynecology and He also trained more than 500 gynecologist and plastic surgeons around the world regarding the use of laser in Cosmetic Gynecology.
Dr. Ranee Thakar
MD, FRCOG
Dr. Ranee Thakar is a distinguished Consultant Obstetrician and
Urogynaecologist at Croydon University Hospital and an Honorary
Senior Lecturer at St George’s University of London. She was
elected President of the Royal College of Obstetricians and
Gynaecologists (RCOG), becoming the first woman of colour and
only the third female President in the College’s 96-year history. She
is also an Honorary Professor of Women’s Health at the University
of Liverpool. Dr. Thakar has held leadership roles at local, national,
and international levels. She led the Perinatal Pelvic Health Project
and Urogynaecology network for South-West London, and as
President of the International Urogynaecological Association
(IUGA, 2019–2020). A champion for racial equity in obstetrics and
gynaecology, Dr. Thakar has developed e-learning modules,
toolkits, and coaching programmes to address systemic disparities.
She is a globally recognised expert in obstetric anal sphincter
injuries (OASI), having led a national project that reduced OASI
rates by 20% across 16 maternity units.Dr. Thakar has authored 145
original articles, 50 review articles, 37 book chapters, and edited
three textbooks, with an h-index of 62 and i10 index of 157.
Prof. N. Raja Mehshwari
MD, DGO, MCh (Urology)
Prof. N. Raja Mehshwari is the Head of the Department of
Urogynaecology at the Chennai Urology & Robotic Institute,
Chennai and a leading figure in pelvic reconstructive surgery. She
currently serves as President of the Urogynaecology &
Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Society of India (URPSSI), affiliated
with the International UroGynaecological Association (IUGA), and
has held several key leadership roles, including Chair of the Women
of Urology section of the Urological Society of India (USI) and
Chair of the Education Committee of IUGA. She is a member of the
Editorial Board of TOG (The Obstetrics & Gynecology CPD journal
of RCOG) and a member of the National Board of Examinations &
Medical Science (NBEMS) Specialists Board. With over 75
publications, she has contributed extensively to research and
education in urogynaecology. She has been recognized
internationally, receiving awards including the Baden Lecturer
Award (2006, Scott & White Hospital, Texas, USA), Ulf Ulmsten
Speaker Award (2008, IUGA, Taipei), and the Kalpana Chawla
Award (2009, Govt of Tamil Nadu, India).
